Using a Bible story and three simple questions, Equipping Evangelist led three Muslim sisters to Christ. He has used that method many times with the same powerful result, and it has sparked a Bible storytelling movement, Heart Bible for the Nations, around the world.
The sisters were acting as translators at the baptism of six believers in a refugee camp for those fleeing from ISIS.
“I know you still feel confused and doubtful, but do you know deep within your hearts that you need a Savior?” Equipping Evangelist asked the girls after the event.
He proceeded to tell them the story of Peter and Jesus walking on water, asking three follow-up questions as outlined by Heart Bible for the Nations:
“Do you believe this Jesus in the story is the Savior of the world?
Do you believe that you need a savior?
Would you like Jesus to be your Savior?”
To each question, they answered sincerely and wholeheartedly, “yes!” and asked Jesus to be their Savior.
These three sisters, now also sisters in Christ, became leaders in the refugee camp’s church until they were able to return home where they faithfully serve the Lord today.
